The proposed Africa Hall of Fame Hotel development at Blaauwpan in Kempton Park, Ekurhuleni is just 7 kilometres by road from the Oliver Tambo International Airport, Africa‚Äôs largest and busiest airport. 

The development will be implemented in phases and phase 1 is ready for implementation. Phase 1 is estimated at US$50 million and includes 245 room four star hotel; 400 seat conference centre; two theatres for a 4D africa hall of fame simulated experience; music recording studious; four restaurants to serve authentic African cuisines; large exhibition spaces and display areas. 

HOTEL COMPOSITION A 245 key 4 star hotel 400 seat Conference + Banqueting and 490m2 Exhibition Space. 2x 1000 and 522 seat theatres where African cultural environments will be simulated. 4x roof-top restaurants and a music recording studioThe land (77ha in total) is adjacent to, and part of a natural lake which has a diameter of approx. 900m.

The project site is surrounded by major highways. The proposed R21 Highway/ Great North Road (K119) interchange is just 2 kilometers to the north of the complex.Atlas Road (K157), immediately west of the complex, is part of the Oliver Tambo Airport inner ring-road, and provides twin carriage, dual lane, access to visitors from all directions.

The Great North Road (K119) runs just to the east of the site. Returns of 12% yearly for the next 10 years. 

Goal Amount and Phases Amount of U$45 million for the Phase 1 (Hotel described) and U$564million for all other four phases.
