Mafolo Park is a new fully designed and approved town development by Mphoto Developers
(PTY) LTD in the INFRA GROUP of COMPANIES.
The development covers 630 ha with a residential area to the east and industrial
area to the west of the R37.
The development consists inter alia of 682 high income, 930 middle
income, 4 195 entry level dwellings and 34 stands for high density developments. Provision is
also made for a shopping mall, filling stations, hotel, lodge, business stands, primary,
secondaryschools, tertiary and/or Training College, medical center, clinics, public swimming
pool, park and etc.
All the bulk services have been secured i.e. water and electricity.
A sewage treatment facility is designed and will be build at the outskirts of the town.
A positive ROD for the environmental approval has been issued without any specific
preliminary conditions, after an EIA without any objections.
The town onced developed it will fall under the Greater Tubatse Municipality .
The first phase of the development will be phase 1&2 to enable us to start with the immediate
construction of critical mass (±2,500 entry level building packages) coming from nearby mining
companies and industries.
Mafolo Park is located 36 kilometers outside Burgersfort between the Marula Mine and the
ASA Metals turn-offs on the R37 towards Polokwane and is situated almost in the middle of the
eastern mineral belt between Lydenburg/Steelpoort and Polokwane.
Mphoto Developers and its marketing partners have done extensive field research in the
mining and local government to enable us to design the town for these areas particular needs.
Various studies been done in conjunction with the mines in the area to establish the township
to service the needs of housing in and arount the mining communities for decades to come.
The project is a R10 Billion or USD 770 Million project we are offering investment packages for
the purpose of speeding up the development of the infrasture and the top structure for the first
stages housing packages.
